If you enjoy hunting, marksmanship shooting, or just being in the great outdoors, we have the thing for you! The 4-H Shooting Sports program is a great way to become a better hunter, improve skills, increase ability to use firearms safely, and HAVE FUN! You may join the outdoor skills program by completing the registration form. The fee will be $30 for the first child and $20for each additional child per family. This is a one-time fee to participate in Evangeline Parish Shooting Sport’s Program for the current school year.
A parent, grand-parent, guardian, or adult must be present to supervise 4-H Club Member at every event. The activities include:

We hold 2 events a year and BOTH events must be attended to qualify for regionals. You must have hunter's safety completed to compete at regionals.
ALL emails will be sent to the email we have on file in 4-H Online.
A registration must be completed for EACH 4-H'er.
Your child will not be an official member of the shootings sports club and will not be allowed to participate until payment is received. ALL payments and registrations are due in the office NO LATER than October 30, 2026. You can either mail a check or stop by the office and pay by check, money order, cash, or debit/credit card. You may also pay over the phone with a debit/credit card. If you come to the office before or after business hours, please place your payment in an envelope with the 4-H'ers name on it and place in the mail slot on the front door. Do not send payment to school.
As you know our program relies on help from volunteers! We are always looking for instructors for our shooting sports program. We have trainings for you to attend so you can become a certified instructor. If you are interested in helping and would like more information please contact Mrs. Madison Latour, our 4-H agent.
